Hyundai, along with our 226 dealers across the country, had come together to launch Hyundai Hope on Wheels in Canada with one heartfelt mission: ending childhood cancer for good.

Together, we can make a difference. Every effort, every donation and every portion of a Hyundai vehicle sold brings us closer to a future where no child has to face cancer alone.

Driving hope one child, one family, and one breakthrough at a time.

Since 1998, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has been a driving force in the fight against childhood cancer, becoming one of the largest funders of paediatric cancer research in the U.S.A

Now, for the first time, this life-changing initiative is expanding globally, starting right here in Canada.

Guided by our vision of "Progress for Humanity", we’re committed to supporting communities where our team members and customers live and work and in investing in brighter futures for children and their families across our country.

No child should ever have to hear the words, “You have cancer.”

Hyundai and its dealerships across Canada believe children deserve so much more. More time to play, more dreams to chase, and a future free of paediatric cancer.

Each year, around 1,000 Canadian children are diagnosed with this devastating disease. While research has made progress, cancer remains the second leading cause of death among children between the aged 1 and –14. Heartbreakingly, one in six children do not doesn’t survive.

That’s why we established Hyundai Hope on Wheels.

Every hand is a beacon of hope.

A handprint is deeply personal and as unique as the child who made it. At Hyundai Hope on Wheels, these handprints tell powerful stories of love, hope and recovery in the fight against childhood cancer.

Whether it’s finishing a round of chemo, watching beautiful new hair grow in or receiving a clean bill of health, each milestone is a reason to celebrate.

That’s why the handprint is our symbol. It represents the unique journey of every child, reminding us of the progress we’ve made and the work still to be done.

At our events, we honour these brave children through our signature “Handprint Ceremony.” Children paint their hands and leave their mark on Hyundai vehicles, which then travel across the country, spreading awareness in a burst of colour and hope.

Hope has four wheels and a big heart.

Starting January 1, 2025, every time a new Hyundai is sold, a portion of that sale will help to fund Hyundai Hope on Wheels. This means every new Hyundai on the road represents more than a family vehicle; it’s a symbol of hope for children and families everywhere.
